NYT: Swiss Approve Deal for UBS to Reveal U.S. Clients Suspected of Tax Evasion

The New York Times recently published an article reporting on the deal struck between Swiss lawmakers and U.S. authorities in the UBS case. According to the article, Swiss lawmakers have agreed to disclose information on thousands of individuals with accounts at UBS that are suspected of cheating the IRS and U.S. authorities plan to use this agreement "as a springboard to force other Swiss banks to hand over details of similar clients."
