The New York Times has published an article titled "Confusion Over the Dormant Estate Tax Keeps Advisers Busy." The article reports that the uncertainty in the areas of trusts and estate tax has created more business for tax professionals. No only have tax professionals been busy updating estate plans, but, according to the article, tax professionals have also been busy setting up grantor retained annuity trusts.
