Tax Notes Article: Kyl Reaches Agreement with Baucus on Details of Proposal for Estate Tax Reform

Senate Finance Committee Member John Kyl said that he reached an agreement with Finance Committee Chair Max Baucus on some of the details of a proposal for estate tax reform.  Kyl said that they have agreed that the top rate will be 35 percent and the exemption level will be $5 million indexed for inflation.
