
Grassley Expresses Concern That Health Care Reform, Assessment of Section 6707A Penalty, and Uncertainty In Regards to Estate Tax Will Increase Compliance Burden for Businesses
Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Chuck Grassley expressed concern that the compliance burden for many business will be increased by healthcare reform, by IRS asssessment of the penalty for failure to include reportable transaction information with a return under Section 6707A, and by uncertainty regarding the estate tax.
