New Jersey Virtual Offices May Violate Ethics Rules

The ABA Journal, in an article titled "Virtual Offices May Violate Ethics Rules, New Jersey Opinion Says," highlights the warning that attorneys who enter into the time-sharing arrangements known as "virtual offices," and hold out these offices as their principal place of business, may violate New Jersey ethics rules.  Unlike most other states, New Jersey still has a bona fide office rule and "virtual offices" do not satisfy the requirements of a bona fide office.
