DC Register of Wills Launches New Live Chat

The Register of Wills would like you to know that the Probate Division website has a new look and the Live Chat Pilot Project launches today!!  Information on the Live Chat Pilot Project (taken from the Court's website with permission) is below.

Probate Division - Live Chat Pilot Project

Live Chat is a 30-day pilot project that will provide online access to the Office of the Register of Wills/Probate Division for customers with questions about Decedents Estates, Guardianships and Conservatorships of Incapacitated Adults and Guardianship of Minor's Estates.

The pilot project will begin April 26, 2010 and end May 25, 2010, and will be available Monday through Friday except holidays. The pilot project will be staffed by Ms. Toni King, Quality Assurance Specialist, between the hours of 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
If you have questions during the hours the chat operator is not available, you may call the Probate Clerk's Office at (202) 879-9460.
