The Wall Street Journal, in an article titled "Mediators Focus on Elder Issues," reports the mediators are begging to specialize in elder issues, such as disputes over medical care and inheritance. The article notes that families who utilize a mediator can expect to pay $100-$500 dollars an hour for mediation, which can be substantially less than the costs of hiring separate attorneys.
