More Than 180 Local IRS Offices Open This Saturday to Help Taxpayers

The IRS has released the following message:

IRS offices will be open nationwide on Saturday, March 27 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., local time, to help taxpayers. The location of participating offices is listed on IRS.gov. 

The IRS message emphasized that the tax centers would be able to assist taxpayers in claiming the following tax breaks created by the American Recovery and Investment Act:

• Homebuyer Tax Credit
• American Opportunity Credit
• Making Work Pay Credit
• the expanded Earned Income Tax Credit
