Scott Martin has posted "With No Estate Tax This Year, Do Estate Planners Still Have a Job?," on The Trust Advisor Blog.  The posting reports that even though the federal estate tax currently is repealed, the general opinion within the wealth planning community is that the estate tax will be reinstated at some point and in some form.  Because the estate tax will be reinstated, because wealth planners deal with clients other than those people whose estates will be subject to estate tax, and because of the increase in the use of trusts in wealth planning, the wealth planning community recently has enjoyed more business than ever.
