IRS Gives Authority to Indian Triable Governments to Issue Tribal Economic Bonds

On February 12, 2010, the Internal Revenue Service released the following message for tax professionals:

The U.S. Department of the Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service recently announced the allocation of a second round of authority to Indian tribal governments to issue Tribal Economic Development Bonds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA).
