The IRS has posted on its website Form 8872 filing due dates for 2010. Unless excepted, tax-exempt political organizations must file periodic reports of contributions and expenditures with the IRS on Form 8872. The IRS also reminds political organizations who elected to file the Form 8872 on a semi-annual or monthly basis must file their final Forms 8872 for 2009 by February 1, 2010.
