According to the CCH Tax News article, "IRS Awards Grants for Low Income Taxpayer Clinics (IR-2009-43)." published on April 22, 2009, "Almost $9.5 million in matching grants were awarded by the IRS to nonprofit organizations and academic institutions that qualify as Low Income Taxpayer Clinics (LITCs) under Code Sec. 7526."
