FinCEN has released Issue 14 (Oct. 2008) of the SAR Activity Review for download. The SAR Activity Review is designed to provide meaningful information about the preparation, use, and value of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and other BSA reports filed by financial institutions.

- An industry viewpoint, which addresses identity theft in the Industry Forum section.
- A summary of law enforcement cases, which demonstrate how important and valuable BSA data is to the law enforcement community. Many of these cases, which range in topic from a mortgage-related Ponzi scheme to medical fraud, wereproactively initiated as a result of BSA report filings.
